Job Purpose:
To prioritise and implement strategies to raise RG public image profile. Supervise all company promotional exhibitions and social activities. Helps in delivering RG’s core PA programmes and projects.

Key Result Areas:
• Co-ordinates the full visit schedule for all VIP guests from arrival through to departure. Organises airport pick-up, hotel accommodation and transportation throughout the visit including the provision of all passes and other official documentation required for site visits, exhibitions and presentations.
• Arranges and controls all company promotional exhibitions including the selection of the site venue, designing the stands, providing suitable documents and materials and co-ordinating all associated activities on the day to ensure that everything operates efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Directs and co-ordinates all company social activities for employees and their families including the provision of suitable transportation, catering and all associated functions and activities.
• Searches and selects suitable events for sponsorship both within Qatar and outside that will promote and enhance the company name and submits proposals to management for approval.
• Manages and controls the supply and provision of all company gifts given to employees, their families and VIP guests. Selects and seeks management approval for suitable gifts.
• Co-ordinates and schedules the New Employee Presentation Event given by the managing director ensuring the provision of suitable facilities, catering, company gifts and all associated materials.
• Assess and itemize costs for website enhancements and modifications and report to Head of Section on a regular basis.
• Contirbute towards achieving measurable targets for public events through adequate media coverage and impact.
• Responsible for uploading emergency response messages on the website as approved by the management team in the event of a crisis situation arising for RasGas.
• Reviews all video documentary prototypes submitted by companies for conferences and exhibitions and submits report and recommendations for management approval.
• Develop, implement, and adhere to a regular website maintenance policies and procedures, including end user content change request forms and posted update/maintenance schedules, to ensure site accuracy and timeliness.
• Assists in the negotiation of corporate rates with hotels, exhibition/conference centres, social centres and gift outlets and seeks management approval.
• Support RasGas departments and committees by arranging professional photographers to undertake photography as required. Responsible for photographer schedule, day by day agenda, desk officer liaison, security passes as required and provision of soft copy images as required by departments.

• Operates within a well structured multi-cultural and multi national environment with a clear reporting framework. The job holder shall have a high level of positive interaction with employees of several backgrounds.
• Operates within clearly defined objectives and policies, but the job holder has some freedom and discretion to determine the job parameters and how best to achieve these goals providing the necessary flexibility for the position.
• Working closely with all three Public Affairs sections; Media and Publications, International Conferences and Exhibitions and Internal Corporate and Community Relations.

Communications and Working Relationships:
• Regular meetings with section head and other team members to discuss plans, work objectives and work deliverables.
• Informal and flexible working relationship with all team members where viewpoints and ideas are openly discussed.
• Daily contact with other departments regarding upcoming requirements, guest visits, events etc…
• Liaison with external agencies and consultants as required.
• Frequent contact with key public departments and peer companies.

Problem Solving/Complexity:
• Complexity of this job is the continuous efforts exerted to ensure RasGas reputation is maintained.
• Performs assigned duties within Company policies and procedures given the flexibility to define own working methods as many activities and arrangements are given within a very strict and limited time frame.
