Staff Appraisal Analyst

Core Functions:

To act as the leader or working-supervisor in the development, implementation and maintenance of the overall staff performance appraisal and reward program and activities according to the framework established in the Human Resource Policy and relevant documents, under the general supervision of the Head of Policy and Compensation.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Oversees the day-to-day administration of performance appraisal activities, briefs lower level employees on required tasks, checks on their progress and ensures that all the necessary resources for completing work - including equipment and office supplies - are available.

2. Works with Kahramaa managers and supervisors on matters of employee performance and productivity appraisals, performance recognition and awards; organizes systems and activities for giving monetary or non-monetary reward to deserving employees;

3. Does all requirements to see to the management of the Performance Appraisal such as presentations, meetings and conferences with concerned departments and contacts with other companies and organizations in and outside of Qatar;

4. Reviews relevant procedures as needed and formulates proposals to assure practical, efficient and quality operation and timely completion of performance appraisals and submission of required reports

5. Studies and evaluates the efficiency and effectiveness of Kahramaa’s performance and reward program

6. Ensures that there is a procedure for fostering good understanding between concerned parties particularly pertaining to the roles each have to play in the employee-supervisor relations or contract.

7. Guides or initiates the issuance of official guidelines for carrying out performance appraisal exercises; ensures that the process allows supervisors and employees to openly compare employees’ actual performance with established and agreed upon standards

8. Assist supervisors and employees in identifying factors or conditions that may have affected the employee’s performance during the prescribed rating period.

9. Introduces a system of encouraging continuing employee-supervisor communication that could provide employees timely feedback pertaining to acceptable or unacceptable work quality or quantity or of agreed timeliness agreed upon earlier; evaluates requests for performance related re-training and recommends appropriate action in close coordination with the Training & Development program

10. Performs other relevant duties and responsibilities as may be officially assigned.

Qualification Requirements: (Minimum Requirements)

Education & Training (e.g. BS in Electrical Engineering, post-secondary secretarial training, etc) :

B Degree in Human Science

Job Experience (e.g.: 5-year experience in the relevant field of work)

Minimum of 8 years with al least 5 in a supervisory level

Physical Requirements:

Medically fit

Other Significant Requirements : (e.g. Knowledge Skills & Abilities, e.g. able to read, write & speak English as a second language)

• Good in the speaking, reading and writing of English
• To do research
• Compile plans and presentations
• Good communication skills.
