Core Functions
To provide Technical support to the Departments regarding all distribution planning issues.
To coordinate and supervise the distribution group functioning to ensure implementation of the set policies and strategies.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
1. Organizes domestic & commercial demand forecasting.
2. Determines Distribution networks expansion requirements.
3. Determines distribution networks data requirement for different studies & investigations.
4. Coordinates with the Distribution Department (ENA) regarding implementation of different schemes.
5. Coordinates communication with domestic & commercial consumers regarding their supply schemes.
6. Communicates at Senior Engineer’s level with other authorities with regard to the supply schemes setting out and to expedite the responses.
7. Attends to the technical supervision of staff in Distribution group.
8. Preparation updates all distribution materials and specification up to 33KV.
9. Supervision of the Design & Development Engineers duties & Inspection of the projects with Engineers on site.
10. Supervision of 33KV & 11KV Load Flow Study for System Security & Overloading .
11. Determines priorities of 33KV & 11KV Reinforcement Schemes .
12. Approved 33KV & 11KV advice for Planning Engineers regarding Building Permit and Scheme Design.
13. Supervision of B.P. Processing and Supply Scheme Preparation .
14. Liaise with MMA&A for infrastructure projects, oversee design, coordinate planning works, Acquisition of primary & secondary Substation Sites.
15. Preparation / Updating Distribution Planning codes of practice.
16. Preparation of different Reports which are required for Distribution System ( Monthly Reports, Annual Statistical Reports, Quarterly Performance Reports etc…. )
17. Perform other related duties as needed upon request by the supervisor.

Qualification Requirements: (Minimum Requirements)
Education & Training (e.g. BS in Electrical Engineering, post-secondary secretarial training, etc) :
B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, 6 Month Training in Planning.
Job Experience (e.g.: 5-year experience in the relevant field of work)
5 years (Minimum) experience in the relevant field.
Nature of Supervision Received
(e.g. very close where supervision and instructions are continually provided in every step of the work/process and the outcome of the work is inspected/reviewed; or work is reviewed in conformance to established guidelines/procedures; or, operates under broad policy guidelines; etc.)
Work is reviewed in conformance to established guidelines / procedures.

KAHRAMAA policy circulars & documents, Managers / Head of Section verbal & written instructions.

• Good knowledge of Arabic Language is necessary.
