Description:
- Conduct market research of the Qatar electricity market to determine the optimum development strategy of the electricity business.
- Conduct market research of the GCC electricity market
- Propose business opportunities
- Conduct economic and financial analyses of proposed projects/opportunities
- Participate in negotiations relevant to new business opportunities
- Contribute to the preparation of the sectional annual and long-term plan
- Prepare various studies and reports related to the electricity ad water industry as requested by supervisor and higher management.
Qualifications & experience:
- Degree level education in a technical or business discipline.
- Trained to complement technical education with business skills or vice versa.
- 10 years technical and business experience in the electricity industry with direct experience in corporate planning and conducting financial analysis and economic feasibility studies.
Excellent English speaking, reading & report writing skills are essential.
