Primary responsibility of the job includes the collection of financial data for the preparation of non-routine, operating, capital departmental budgets, budget revision, financial reports and cost centres, budget reallocations, re-phasing, transfer and analyzes of budget reports, monitoring budget and costs, monthly expenditures, variances from approved budget and provision of justifications and recommendations to the Section Head.
Liaises with Finance Department for the resolution of budget and expenditure related matters, and administers SAP Budget Control System in an efficient manner.
Checks and verifies invoices, purchase requisitions and other financial documents prior to approval by Section Heads/Department Manager. Attends meetings with Finance Department along with Section Head/Department Manager on budget and financial issues.
Education & Training
Bachelor Degree in Finance/Accounting.
Must have good computer skills and knowledge in SAP.
Fluency in spoken and written English essential.
Experience
8 years in Budget Planning and Control environment with 5 years in Oil & Gas sector.
Good analytical, administrative, communication, interpersonal, presentation, organizing and supervisory skills.
Contracts/Project Coordinator
Primary Purpose
Control, administer, streamline and to be accountable for about Forty Two (42) Contracts with a value more than 155 Million Qatari Riyals, and Six (06) Tenders with value more than 119 Million Qatari Riyals.
To be the department’s representative and focal point of all SAP Contractual matters
To Administer and act as the custodian of all General Services Department’s Contracts files and confidential contractual documentations.
Guide and assist in the preparation of the Annual Budget related to Contracts
Education & Training
Bachelor of Science with contractual background. Also a Degree in Quantity Surveying/cost estimating is a plus.
Experience
More than 10 years experience in Contracts administration, out of which at least 5 years dealing with costs, budgets, planning and contracts to become familiar with preparation of Tender specifications and associated standards pertaining to local and international regulations. A good knowledge of local suppliers and their behaviour is desirable. Must be experienced with cost estimating, commercial evaluation and cost control methods.
Supervisor, Needs Analysis & Marketing
A degree in engineering or a relevant technology discipline. A postgraduate university or professional qualification in training or human resource development is desirable. SAP HCM (human Capital Management) certification will be an advantage
7 years in an industrial training environment preferably in the Energy & Industry sector. Experience in training and coaching is essential. A SAP HCM super user with 3 years experience in TEM (Training & Event), PD (Personnel Development), and LSO (Learning Solution). Extract data from SAP HCM with ease, using interactive queries and reports. Experience in providing support to system users is essential along with mobility to provide the support. Experience of marketing and public relations is desirable.
Supervisor , e-Learning Development
A degree in information systems. Postgraduate or professional qualifications in e-Learning Technology with emphasis on designing e-learning content.
4 years as a System Engineer in Information Technology and training environment. 3 years in e-learning content development industry.
Competent in applying e-learning authoring tools and performance support development such as (Adobe Flash CS3, Action Script 3, Director, Authorware, Captivate 3, Breeze, Flex Builder, 3DS Max, Dreamweaver and Photoshop (or similar tools). Experience with Learning Management Systems (IBM, SAP LSO). Experience with AICC and SCORM specifications and their role within e-learning. Project management experience with full content development life cycle methodologies. Must have a good training and teaching experience.
