BUSINESS ANALYSIS AND PLANNING DEPARTMENT

INTERVIEWS FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITIONS WILL BE HELD IN LONDON BETWEEN 20th – 24th SEPTEMBER AND IN CANADA THE FOLLOWING WEEK (location to be advised).


Head of Business Analyst

To service Qatar Petroleum, it's subsidiaries and joint venture companies. To service Qatar's Ministries and External Agencies. To develop and coordinate the implementation of strategic organizational visions, corporate objectives, and improvement plans. To direct Qatar Petroleum and External clients in the process of Change, instigating business initiatives, Benchmarking, Management System Integration, Quality Management and the implementation of new processes, so improving the organization's resource effectiveness. Advise and manage the change process highlighting the people implications and role adjustments required.

Education:

Relevant Bachelors Degree. Post-Graduate Degree Preferred (MBA or International Management Qualifications).

Experience & Skills:

20 years of wide ranging and diverse experience, to include at least 5 years at a Senior Manager of Executive level. Mature, strong interpersonal skills, demonstrated leadership skills. 15 years professional project management skills (multi-site project responsibilities).


Senior Business Analyst

To undertake the most complex and technically demanding assignments to improve business processes, reduce costs and arise the efficiency & cost effectiveness of the Corporation. Carry out in-depth studies of the major, high risk business areas.

Education:

Degree supported by a secondary qualification such as MBA or equivalent technical qualification
Full membership of Institute of Management Services or equivalent professional body.
Experience & Skills:
Strong analytical skills and proven in-depth hands on experience in strategies, activities, processes and standards relating to Operations across the Oil & Gas Industry value chain.
Formulation, implementation and maintenance of strategies, policies and procedures that provide requisite frameworks and management systems for effective governance in Enterprise Risk Management, Enterprise Information and Content Management, Business Process management, Business Continuity Management and Process Control.
A minimum of 12 years wide ranging Business Analysis experience, 4 of which shall have been in a senior position


Business Analyst

A minimum of 5 years wide ranging business analysis experience preferably in the Oil & Gas Industry. This experience should include organizational studies, method study, work measurement, cost reduction assignments, development of information systems and drafting of procedures and reports.
