Applications Security Head Systems Engineer

Experience and Expertise:

  • Minimum of 12 years progressive experience in an enterprise ICT environment, with at least 5 years of demonstrated ICT project management and/or supervisory experience in an Oil and Gas company.

    This leadership role is responsible to manage and maintain applications security technology and the associated standards and accountability for ensuring that the technology implemented is engineered with appropriate levels of security to safeguard corporate data.

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related Engineering field

  • International professional information security certifications (CISSP, CISA, CISM, GIAC Advanced or ITIL Expert) or in Enterprise Architecture

  • Strong awareness of current trends in Information System Security and software development methodologies, including extensive experience in implementing Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC)

  • Extensive experience in  information systems security and validation testing

  • Experience in managing and executing ICT security large programs/projects through contracts and/or internal resources, on time and within budget

  • Ability to perform Root Cause and Decision Analysis, Analysis of Alternatives, Risk Management and System Design Concept Validation

  • Expert knowledge in Microsoft Office and other office productivity applications such as Microsoft Project and Visio

  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical personnel in both oral and written forms

  • Well-versed in project management tools and methodologies


Applications Security Senior and Systems Engineers

Experience and Expertise:

  • Extensive experience in development and implementation of Application Security plans for IT-enablement projects by identifying, analysing and evaluating business and ICT security requirements in alignment with the IT security architecture.

    Candidate is required to implement and monitor application security controls during the ICT asset lifecycle to achieve confidentiality, integrity, availability and compliance objectives of business applications.

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related Engineering field

  • International professional information security certifications (CISSP, CISA, CISM, GIAC Advanced or ITIL Expert) or in Enterprise Architecture
