The Head of ICT Security Strategy is responsible for establishing the strategic and tactical direction for IT Information Security within the Corporate ICT Department. The Head will be responsible for architecting and establishing IT security framework in addition to formulating strategic objectives requirements that are up to and/or beyond requirements of the government and regulatory environment.
Candidates must have a minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in an enterprise ICT environment, with at least 5 years of demonstrated Information Systems Security Strategic Management.
Experience and Expertise:
Bachelors or Masters level degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or an appropriate Engineering/Business field.
ISMS related ISACA, ISO, BS, ITIL certifications and experience; preferably in direct application to the Oil and Gas sector.
Excellent experience and proven record in establishing/implementing Information Security Management System (ISMS) framework, processes, policies, procedures and guidelines based on international industry standards and best practices and inline with corporate strategic plans.
Excellent experience and proven record in coordinating incident response planning through formal processes with internal and/or external regulatory bodies.
Excellent experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS) and the establishment/implementation of related processes, policies and procedures.
In depth knowledge and extensive experience of corporate strategic planning and execution.
Excellent communication, problem solving, persuasion, negotiation, and decision making skills.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to communicate concepts as appropriate to customers, contractors, and staff.
Senior IT Security Specialist
The Senior ICT Security Specialist will play a major role in the implementation and execution of IT security framework and related strategy, processes and policies. The specialist shall assist in formulating the strategic and tactical direction and objectives for IT Information Security within the Corporate ICT Department.
