Primary Purpose of the Job:
Responsible for design review, provision of comments and approvals regarding construction and maintenance of various Structural Projects from initiating the Statement of Requirements (S.O.R.) to Commissioning and ensuring that QP/MIC’s projects are carried out in accordance with the appropriate engineering, safety and environmental standards. Responsible for providing technical know-how and support during all phases of the projects from concept design to hand-over and close-out of the project, for in-house construction projects.
Education
B. SC. in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualifications, and specialized courses in steel and concrete structures, construction management, and resource planning. Experience: Possess working knowledge of International and Qatar structure design standards. Require a broad knowledge of structure design elements and how these elements fit together for a completed project, as well as a broad knowledge of support elements such as environmental, utilities, and right-of-way activities.
Experience and Skills

Construction Supervisor (Irrigation)
Primary Purpose Of The Job:
To supervise, monitor and control Onshore, In-housed and outsourced design, construction and maintenance Irrigation Projects at MIC Community, Industrial and Port areas; Assist in preparation of in-house designs and tender scopes; Co-ordinate with consultants. Support the activities in preparation of Budget, Feasibility Studies, Scope of Works for the assigned MIC landscaping and irrigation projects; Assist in preparation of the statement of Requirement (SOR) for MIC projects under Engineering Dept. including Project site follow-ups, review/comment till project completion. Ensure and enforce the implementation of QP-Corporate Design and regulations, policies and standards.
Education:
Bachelor Degree in Agriculture Engineering or Bachelor of Science Civil Engineering.
Experience & Skills:

Senior Project Engineer (Marine)
Primary Purpose of the Job:
Responsible for the performance of highly specialized marine engineering work requiring full professional competency in project planning, coordinating, designing, construction and maintenance of Harbour, docks, wharves, jetties berthing structures, breakwater, revetment, navigation channels, basins, dredging/backfilling, operations coastal protection, erosion/accretion and related various equipment and devices regarding environmental and topographical factors. Review, provide feedback and for in-house projects, approve all technical marine engineering related documents and drawings for MIC.
Education
B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from a reputable university or equivalent qualifications and specialized courses in contracts and resource planning.
Experience and Skills 12 years of experience in Civil Construction Projects, Design and Management. At least 5 years experience in harbour engineering and marine structures.
Supervisor, Electrical Maintenance
Primary Purpose of the Job:
To supervise, monitor and control Onshore, Buildings and Structures In-housed and out-sourced Projects at MIC Community, Industrial and Port areas from Design to Construction then Maintaining the taken-over facilities (corrective and preventive) for Electrical Works, Air Conditioning(HVACs), Fire Alarm, Fire Hydrant, Fire fighting, Refrigeration, Power Generators, UPS Systems, MV’ s, Lifts/Escalators; Assist in preparation of in-house designs and tender scopes, and co-ordinate with consultants. Support the activities in preparation of Budget, Feasibility Studies, Scope of Works for the assigned MIC Buildings and Structures Projects; assist in preparation of Statement of Requirement (SOR) for MIC projects under Engineering Dept. including Project site follow-ups, review/comment till project completion. Ensure and enforce the implementation of QP-Corporate Design and regulations, policies and standards.

Head of Planning
Primary Purpose of the Job:
Manage the MIC Planning Division which is responsible for the Strategic Development/Planning for the entire MIC area including the Heavy Industry, Light Industry, Port and Residential areas. Develop and direct strategic planning initiatives ensuring consistency with Corporate and State level objectives to ensure long terms sustainable development and revenue growth. Plan MIC’s land utilization for coherent development of MIC, by developing and implementing a comprehensive land utilization/management and development master plan; Manage the Urban Planning framework and process through the development, implementation and updating Strategic Master plans for the entire MIC geographical area. The initiation and continuity of consultative processes engaging all stakeholders, to ensure integration with national planning initiatives;

Senior Industrial Project Engineer
Primary Purpose of the Job:
Reporting to the Head of Investor and Development Planning, the Senior Industrial Project Engineer is the primary focal point for the follow-up of implementation of major industrial projects established or planned in MIC (“end- users”). The main purpose of the position is to ensure a close and effective coordination between MIC and existing/planned projects and Investors. To fulfill this objective, the position holder shall fully understand end-user requirements, coordinate with relevant departments to ensure a timely development of MIC facilities to meet these requirements, represent the interests of QP during the design and construction of the end-user projects, ensure compliance of end-user projects with MIC policies, regulations, procedures and guidelines, and identify and promote synergies between the various projects.
Education BSc in relevant Engineering discipline (preferably Chemical, Mechanical Industrial or Civil). Advanced degree in business related area (e.g. MBA) is desirable.
Experience and Skills 10-15 Years of experience in the Oil/Gas/Petrochemical/Industrial sectors. Previous experience in planning or management of large industrial projects with exposure to a variety of disciplines. Comfortable in working with senior management and a broad range of external parties. Ability to represent MIC in important meetings with end-users, including staff from major international oil companies and international contractors. Previous international experience, appreciation of cultural sensitivities. Ability to work with limited supervision, high degree of self motivation and discipline. Ability to work under tight deadlines using organizational and time management skills. Business Analyst
Primary Purpose of the Job:
To lead and manage complex, technically demanding projects involving MIC and QP (including corporate) departments as well as other stakeholders such as QP subsidiaries, joint venture partners and independent companies. Identify, develop and implement effective operational business strategies, processes, appropriate organisation structures and performance measures. Advise MIC management in developing policies and strategies for business development (Master plans), organisation effectiveness and performance management as well as undertaking commercial, economic, statistical and empirical reviews. Ensure Quality Systems and IT technologies are applied as appropriate and manage the impact of change in MIC and its end-users and advise MIC management in developing policy and business strategies for business development, organisation effectiveness and performance management
Education Bachelor's degree from a recognized and accredited university in related areas (e.g. Business; Economics; Management Information Systems; Information Technology; etc.)
Experience and Skills Minimum 12 years working experience with 5 years Internal or External consultancy experience in Business Analysis; Project Management; Change Management and Organizational Development.
