Primary Purpose of the Job:
Manage and direct MIC multimedia projects to facilitate the business functions and promotion activities of the MIC Directorate. Adopt a strong understanding of MIC’s business operations and propose creative multimedia concepts, designs and solutions that effectively address users’ requirements in areas such as MIC Website, Publications, Presentation; DVD’s, Newsletters; Web based products including - the visual look & feel, graphics, styles, navigation, and layout.
Principle Accountabilities
Direct a wide range of multimedia projects working in collaboration with MIC departments to assist in fulfilling both Departmental and Directorate business objectives.
Familiarize, interpret and document the operational needs of MIC departments and recommend innovative multimedia solutions for execution which will best fit their requirements and lead to business improvement.
Review and analyse existing multimedia content, propose design concepts and develop visuals based on users’ requirements.
Provide technical and creative support on the design, development and maintenance of MIC’s presence in various media, e.g. website, television, radio.
Maintain a keen awareness of the latest trends and developments in the multimedia industry and adopt a creative approach in the application of technology to develop multimedia content.
Fully responsible for MIC Website design as related to its visual look, feel and graphics.
Poster and banner design for MIC events such as Environment Day, conferences and exhibitions, MIC sports events, etc.
Conceptualise, design and produce business promotional materials, e.g. websites, publications, videos, etc., working in close collaboration with PR, IT and other select QP and MIC and departments.

Specialized Skills
Extensive experience in User Interface Design for websites and development of multimedia for the web based applications including visuals, graphics, styles, navigation and layout.
Ability to create interactive and dynamic flash based animations to display content, data and advertisements.
Ability to develop customized icons and graphic elements using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
Advanced knowledge of Flash and Action script to create dynamic media and applications.
Experience and knowledge of web standards and technologies including CSS, HTML, JavaScript, JSP and XML.

Primary Purpose Of The Job:
• Establish and ensure appropriate financial strategies and effective financial systems and controls for MIC financial modelling and reporting, assets, leases and service recovery.
• Manage the preparation and consolidation of the MIC Annual Budget and 5-year Business Plan.
• Act as Focal Point for all Finance, Material (PR & MR) and SAP Finance issues.
Education:

Experience & Skills:
• Minimum 10 years relevant accounting (working) experience

Senior Business Analyst (E-Business)
Primary Purpose Of The Job:
• Identify opportunities, research, analyse, develop and implement e-business applications and services for MIC Departments and for MIC’s end-user community including subsidiaries, joint-ventures and independent companies operating in MIC; establish, maintain and develop MIC’s Web and Intranet presence.
Education:
• Bachelor degree preferably in Computer Science or Business.
Experience & Skills:
• Capability and advanced level of knowledge in e-Business & web development methodologies, tools, techniques and platforms. PMP certification is desirable.
• 10 years experience in the Business Analysis area including e-Business/web content development and experience in project management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.

Head of Development Control
Primary Purpose of the Job:
To provide regulatory control and direction to the development of all projects in the Community, Industrial and Port Areas of MIC in the context of the policies of MIC Management and the master plan of MIC.
Principle Accountabilities
Evaluate the design components of planning during the project development phase with reference to design guidelines and ensure conformance to MIC’s Master Plan.
Serve as a focal point for the review of all proposals for development in MIC.
Ensure conformance with the intent of MIC’s Master plan and consolidate the results of reviews and prepare written reports/response concerning Concept Plan proposals.
Review design engineering documents ranging from conceptual to detailed design on approved projects. Defines detailed requirements with all concerned departments, investors and design consultants.
Review and administer all matters related to Development Control Regulations including Development Applications; Building, Maintenance and Demolition Permits; Completion Certificates; Signage, etc.
Follow up to ensure conformity with Planning Regulations and Ministry of Municipal and Urban Planning (MMUP) procedures
Liaise with MIC’s Planning Division on enforcement of regulations and to follow-up on the implementation of all projects and development in MIC.
Leads and manages a team of technical support staff (Development Coordinator, Draftsmen and Compliance Inspectors) to manage the regulatory process of project development within MIC.
Participates in setting design criteria and in the case of design consultants, reviews, comments, evaluates and approves submissions.

Head of Planning
Primary Purpose of the Job:
Manage the MIC Planning Division which is responsible for the Strategic Development/Planning for the entire MIC area including the Heavy Industry, Light Industry, Port and Residential areas.
Develop and direct strategic planning initiatives ensuring consistency with Corporate and State level objectives to ensure long terms sustainable development and revenue growth.
Plan MIC’s land utilization for coherent development of MIC, by developing and implementing a comprehensive land utilization/management and development master plan;
Manage the Urban Planning framework and process through the development, implementation and updating Strategic Master plans for the entire MIC geographical arae.
the initiation and continuity of consultative processes engaging all stakeholders, to ensure integration with national planning initiatives;
Principle Accountabilities
Lead the coordinated development of MIC through the planning and management of the roles of Sr. Urban, Sr. Industrial, Sr. Marine Planners and Sr. Industrial Project engineers to ensure a balanced and cohesive urban/industrial environment.

Head of Investor Services
Primary Purpose of the Job:
To provide the most efficient and effective service and support to all existing and prospective investors in Mesaieed Industrial City - from the initial expression of interest phase, through to the completion phase of all investment projects – including technical assessments, land allocation and assistance in obtaining permits and operating certificates for all projects.
Principle Accountabilities
Evaluate new projects to determine that they meet MIC’s selection criteria and ascertain that they are consistent with MIC’s development plans and criteria.
Oversee land utilization development as per the MIC Master Plan land ensuring efficient land utilization within the heavy and light industries areas.
Allocate land to new projects and provide support and advice to Investors as related to their investment and development opportunities.
Manage MIC’s “One-Stop-Shop” single point of delivery of services to existing and prospective Investors in MIC to expedite their projects and development.
Liaise with and support investors to facilitate the development of the projects.
Oversee the Land Allocation process and assist investors in the coordination of services with Government agencies (e.g. Water / Electricity / Telecoms. etc.)
Liaise with MIC Planning Division for matters related to the overall planning of MIC to develop strategies to incorporate and respond to relevant local, national, regional and global impacts and market opportunities.

Primary Purpose of the Job:
Coordinate, strategise, manage, plan and control all activities in the onshore maintenance section to ensure the continued long-term operation and maintenance of all onshore port equipment, such as:- workshops, cargo handling equipment (cranes, hoppers, vehicles, etc), hydraulic gangways, fire-hydrant systems, navigation lights, quick-release hooks, bollards, ladders, bunkering facilities, oil pollution equipment and fenders fitted to the nearly five kilometres of wharfage space under MIC authority.

Direct, coordinate and monitor all maintenance activities carried out by a QP Maintenance Contractor on the QP Mesaieed Container Terminal (design capacity - 500,000 TEU/annum) for the following equipment:- 4 x STS cranes, 9 x RTG cranes, and miscellaneous standard terminal equipment such as tractor/trailers, fork-lifts, reach-stackers, etc.
