To streamline Port Services operations, enhance efficiency and quality. Coordinating, channelling flow of information and instructions to 7 supervisors. To liaise with 8 protecting agents and new projects (QPBM & Oil/Gas logistics) to ensure that all services activities are met professionally (70% agency & 30% future). Focus on Customs feedback & customs relations management (CRM).
Communication with principals, protecting agents, contractors, stevedores, suppliers and representing the company to customers, the government authority
Provide executive assistance to Port Operations activities as needed and organise Port services meetings with the concerned parties
To collect complaints data and analyse root causes. To identify Critical Success Factors (CSF) and where corrective action is necessary.
Carry out SWOT analysis
Provide training to Qatari nationals
Coordinating and follow up with all major companies and focus on future expansion project
To provide logistic support for all vessels calling Mesaieed Port.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Business Administration or Master Mariner with up to 15 years of experience in shipping, agency and Marine Transport industry
Excellent working knowledge of Maritime and shipping industry, strong leadership,
Good command of spoken and written English and thorough knowledge of computer applications (MS Word, Excel, Access)
developing and maintaining constructive and cooperative working relationship with others
Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills. Ability to work with limited supervision
