Civil Engineer
Education:

Structural Engineer Primary Purpose of the Job:
Supervise and control minor/major civil works for capital, non-routine and routine maintenance projects within the Gas Operation jurisdiction. By preparing of various progress reports, developing a working schedule/programme, reviewing and approving shop drawings, issuing site changes, verifying quantities, issuing work permits and conducting routine inspections of ongoing projects as well as final hand over inspection.
Participate in developing projects documentations, specifications, bill of quantities and drawings by conducting site surveys and routine inspections to ensure a safe operating plant.
Participate in troubleshooting, in providing technical evaluation of causes and how to remedy. Education:

Pipeline Engineer
Primary Purpose of the Job:
Responsible for all decommissioning, removal and reinstatement of defective/ corroded onshore pipeline sections including re-commissioning as well as demolition and removal of abandoned onshore pipeline including pigging, cleaning and inserting of cross country pipelines associated with crude oil and gas transmission & distribution systems under GDS department, which supplies gas and crude oil to the various downstream industries, and to the NGL processing plants at Mesaieed. Provides mechanical engineering expertise in the development of proposals and contributes in the delivery of first class solutions which combine innovation, imagination and best practice for modifications or additions to existing onshore oil and gas pipeline under GDS operations.
Education:
Bachelor of Engineering degree or its equivalent in Mechanical Engineering plus relevant short courses in safety and in pipeline design analysis, including analysis software
Experience & Skills:
Eight to ten years experience in the engineering /construction / installation of oil, gas and / or petrochemical facilities including at least 5 years in the pipeline industry with hands-on experience developing and implementing pipeline safety programs , inspection and procedures, including technical knowledge of metallurgy and welding Should be fully familiar with the requirement of Engineering Standards and Corporate Engineering Standards related to pipeline including ASME B31.8: Gas transmission and distribution piping systems, ASME B31.4: pipeline transportation system for liquid hydrocarbons and other liquids & API Standard 1104: welding of pipelines and related facilities

Senior Maintenance Engineer (Electrical)
Primary Purpose of the Job:
Supervises and coordinates the activities of assigned personnel in all aspects of electrical engineering work including the operation, maintenance, shutdown work, overhaul and breakdown repair of 33KV, 11KV, 3.3KV and 415V distribution network systems, associated plants and equipments within, NGL Complex Common Facilities including Canteen, Transport Facilities, Materials Store, Office Buildings, Workshops Substations, NGL Laboratory, fire station, water pumping stations. Directs , Co-ordinates and supervises the activities of assigned personnel in all aspects of instrumentation engineering work , trouble shooting , maintenance work, shutdowns, overhauls and breakdown repairs of field instrumentation, related to the NGL common facilities such as NGL laboratory , fire station , weather monitoring system, canteen , clinic , material stores , transport facilities , workshop, water/ irrigation pumping stations and all office buildings.
Accountable for the major overhaul and repair of all PCV’s received from the different NGL plants like NGL 1, 2 3 & 4 , and routine and non routine maintenance in NGL common facilities such as NGL laboratory, Fire Station, Canteen, Clinic, Material Stores, Transport facilities, water/irrigation pumping stations during equipment / plant shutdowns and emergency work and all office building such as OE, GP, NG, TD, TO. Reviews the engineering design and provides site engineering support to new major projects. Ensures that all electrical work and activities under his responsibility areas are executed as per the approved procedure & in compliance with requirement of ISO quality management requirements/ objectives to achieve maximum plants availability and reliability while safety is maintained in a cost effective manner to achieve operational objectives.
The job exists to provide efficient and quality maintenance of electrical equipments of NGL Complex common facilities, System of oil and gas pipelines within operating area to achieve production and safety objectives of QP. This job will minimize plant down time and maximize plant electrical equipments availability. Personally investigates and troubleshoots severe or untraceable problems with all types of control instrumentation within the operational area. Implements fault-finding routines and procedures, diagnoses problems and takes appropriate action including devising and implementing solutions, referring to other disciplines, recommending external expert assistance, and preparing reports, as necessary. Provides technical input for Qatari Manpower Development, including OJT and IDP’s.

Rigging Supervisor
Primary Purpose Of The Job:
Directs, control & coordinates the work activities of Senior technician (Riggers) in the execution of the rigging, lifting or scaffolding activities within Gas Operations (NGL complex, GDS stations, Tank Farm & Terminal areas and NFA).
To liaise with corporate HSE support dept for the coordination and approvals of heavy lifts undertaken in the plant facilities.
Performs rigging calculations and ensures that all lifts carried out in the plant facilities are handled effectively and safely, adhering to corporate safety standards and procedures and in line with ISO: 9001; 2000 quality management objectives and requirements.
Exercises financial authority at the level established by the management, as per the QP manual of authorities.
Actions replacement/up-gradation of lifting equipment and machinery and improve work methods.
Responsible for devising all lifting plans within the area of operations of Field Support Department Gas Operations as follows - Devises and authorizes lifting plans within the limitations of the current generic lifting plan, devises and submits to ST Department for approval lifting plans outside the limitations of the current generic lifting plan.
