Head of Corrosion & Coating
Primary Purpose Of The Job:
Directs and coordinates the activities of assigned personnel and professional contractors in the implementation of corrosion prevention schemes dealing with corrosion monitoring, coating selection & application, selection & injection of corrosion control chemical, material selection and Cathodic protection for reliable and smooth process plants operation and its affiliated facilities.
Defines the requirements of corrosion prevention schemes and control methods for the existing facilities to maintain them in proper functional condition.
Directs the corrosion prevention strategies and approves the outcome of corrosion control schemes.
Directs to ensure the compliance to the corporate safety and quality standards and execution of planned activities on time, in efficient and cost effective manner.
Provides specialist technical expertise on the material selection, material performance, corrosion inhibitor addition, Cathodic protection and other corrosion related failures.
Interacts with the project teams to ensure the compliance of installation and commissioning of corrosion prevention and control facilities.
Discusses with management and seeks approval in implementing the new technologies and developments in the corrosion and coating disciplines with a view to the increased integrity and reliability of process equipments and pipelines.
Reviews develop new standards and update the existing company standards and specifications by the introduction of new development in the corrosion and coating technologies ETC.
Lead root cause investigations of equipment, piping & pipelines failures, or operational upset events which could lead to accelerated equipment, piping & pipelines degradation.

Education:

Certified in NACE level certification as a Senior corrosion technologist plus possess one of the speciality area certification in corrosion and its control such as CP, protective coating, Material selection/design or chemical treatment etc.

Senior RBI / IMS Engineer
Primary Purpose Of The Job:
Candidate will be required to work as the interface between inspection and the Process, Operation, Safety team and play an important role in integrating the inspection concepts with the system requirement and analysis and to provide useful contribution in the integrity management of equipments.
Responsible for classifying Risk Based Inspection and specify the most appropriate methods for reducing the risks.
Candidate will be required to formulate strategy for reducing unit downtime on the basis of Risk Based Inspection analysis and interpretation.
Shall have working experience in applying RBI analysis to determine the inspection priorities and frequencies to determine all corrosion mechanism.
Shall be required to show competencies in understanding the corrosion loops and degradation mechanisms.
Responsible for the operation and performance of Inspection Information system and work as the front line system analyst.
Complete familiarity with the materials, fabrication and Inspection of stationary equipment and piping is required.
Candidate shall be in the position to understand and interpret the relevant International Codes, Standards and Practices.

Education:

Primary Purpose Of The Job:
Organize and supervise the jobs for corrosion control and corrosion prevention of Process, utilities and affiliated units, Cathodic Protection of Pipelines and Tanks.
As a unique contribution to organization, work to devise the strategies, schedules and plans for Preventive and predictive corrosion control and implement accordingly. In case, corrosion control and prevention could not be achieved, as a result, it could lead into unpredictive failures and immense loss of revenue.
