Responsible and accountable for Mechanical Engineering work assigned for projects and plant change request from FEED through to commissioning
Provide professional mechanical technical expertise to Refinery business units including Projects, Maintenance, Technical and Inspection
Ensure technical quality, safety suitability and cost effectiveness for assigned projects to ensure integrity of Refinery is maintained or improved
Approve designs and verify that plans and facilities are built to the approved design
Technical evaluations and recommendation
Contribute to updates of mechanical engineering codes, standards and specifications
Maintain the Refinery documents standards with technically acceptable content
Supervision of contractors and assigned personnel
Required Skills/Experience:
BSc in Mechanical Engineering
10-15 years experience in the design, piping and mechanical equipment and supervision of installation work in Oil Refinery or Petrochemical Industry
Effective communication in English (both written and verbal)
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Detailed understanding and knowledge of international codes and standards (including ASME, ANSI, API, TEMA, NFPA, etc.)
Specialised experience with mechanical engineering design software (Pressure Vessels, Piping, Tanks, Heat Exchangers and other Refinery related Equipment) is an asset
Maintenance Technical Coordinator
Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineer.
Minimum 15 years experience in supervisory level in Mechanical Engineering Activity
Good knowledge of MS Word Provides essential coordination and support to Maintenance Manager to ensure safe efficient functioning of maintenance activities as per the plan.
To study and review Maintenance activities for new projects.
Assist and supports in Technical / Feasibility study of all new projects unit the selection of a contractor with respect to maintenance aspects.
Contacts with licensors and consultants on maintenance views.
Coordinate with Asst. Managers within the department for management improvement initiatives
Materials Engineer
B.SC. in Engineering (Preferably Mechanical)
12 years experience in a similar capacity in the Oil or Petrochemical Industry
Experience in working on a Computerized Maintenance/Materials Management System (SAP/MAXIMO/EMA/TEROMAN or similar).
Strong working knowledge of Material Standards and Specifications
Senior Electrical Engineer (FCC)
Supervises and coordinates the activities of assigned personnel in operation and maintenance of electrical equipment viz. FCC complex main substation and 15 MW power generation plant, which includes 14 transformers, 31 nos. 11kV Switchgear panels, 6 nos. 11kV motors, one 15 MW 11kV generator and its control gear, one 1.6MW 3.3kV emergency generator, 2 nos. 3.3kV MCCs, 6 nos. 415V MCCs/switchboards, more than 30nos. 3.3kV motors, 200nos. MV motors, batteries, chargers, UPS, HV&MV power and control cables, supplying power to FCC complex and sulfur units. Ensure the efficient functioning of the plant and machinery all the time. Supervise and coordinate the activities of assigned personnel in the routine maintenance, overhaul inspection and breakdown repair of all the electrical equipment. Plans and approves work schedules and ensures all maintenance activities are carried out in safe, timely and efficient manner and are completed within budget.
On appointment, the electrical engineer shall pass successfully a test to be a high voltage authorized electrical person to carryout high voltage switching, isolation, earthing and de-isolation operations Safely and issuing/canceling of high voltage permit for 11kV system.
Failure to comply with approved standard; codes and practices could result in failure of plant and equipment giving to substantial cash and manpower losses.
Education:
BS in Electrical Engineering.
Experience & Skills:
10 years of experience in maintenance, installation, modification, tender evaluation, and trouble shooting of high and low voltage electrical systems, power generation and plant electrical equipment in a petroleum or petrochemical industry.
Computer literate in appropriate software and good communication skills.
